PINE BELT BLEND

PINE BELT is a blend of Central American coffees that is fun, easy to enjoy all day and tasty any way you want to brew it. It’s a nod to our home region, where giant pine trees sway in the sun and the red soil is an unmistakable sign you’re in the South.

WHO SHOULD DRINK THIS? Anyone who doesn’t want to break the bank as they begin to explore specialty coffee.

WHAT DOES IT TASTE LIKE? Nutty with milk chocolate and sugar cane underneath. Perfect with the addition of milk.

WHAT MAKES THIS COFFEE SPECIAL? Pine Belt Blend is the first coffee blend we’ve developed since moving to our new home in the piney woods of the South. We wanted to hit the trifecta of a tasty coffee that was easy for first-time specialty coffee drinkers to approach while being very affordable. Our version of “good, fast, cheap.”

HOW DO WE SOURCE IT? We partnered up with the Menendez family from El Salvador again this year to create the majority of the base of this coffee. We’ve been buying coffees from them for over 12 years. We added a coffee we sourced with the help of one of our broker friends to create a well-rounded blend.

Although we wouldn’t call this a SECOND SEASON - FIRST HAND offering, its majority-direct component makes it something we would call, “sourced from friends.”
