This coffee is a crowd pleaser. It’s easy to drink and pretty easy on the pocketbook: a win-win. It’s clean with a smooth finish and zero bitterness. Drink it black. Add cream and sugar. This coffee is sure to please. It’s been a mainstay in our cafe lineup for years as a batch brew option.

WHO SHOULD DRINK THIS? Anyone who wants a coffee that is mild and smooth without a trace of bitterness.

WHAT DOES IT TASTE LIKE? This coffee loves to hang out with a mild honey nut taste in the background. Tastes great “doctored up” too.

WHAT MAKES THIS COFFEE SPECIAL? This coffee is the best bang for the buck in our lineup. It’s a great introduction to the world of specialty coffee, without the fancy terminology and obscure tasting notes. Very approachable.

HOW DO WE SOURCE IT? This coffee is blend of two Central and South American coffees that are what are known as a “SPOT” coffees. They’re what you would find “on the spot” on any green (raw) coffee broker’s list for roasters to fill out their offerings list. These types of coffees can sometimes be a blend of stuff from a particular part of a country, or from a larger industrial-sized operation cranking out rivers of coffee. (Volume is not evil…it’s fantastic for helping countless roasters offer more budget-friendly coffees to their clientele. The producers work just as hard and deserve to be rewarded for their efforts as the micro specialty lots.) We’ve had this blend in our lineup for several years.
